The experience
of an elementary student is one in which they evolve from hands-on, experiential
learning into the digital era. Exposed to iPads for learning skills in kindergarten, our teachers believe
in a education that utilizes technology, but relies upon the student’s hands-on
experiences to learn. By 3rd grade, the students have 1:1 Chromebooks
within the classroom, utilizing iPads and desktops in the computer lab in
grades K-2nd. Our 4th graders are 1:1 iPads in the classroom,
while our 5th graders are 1:1 chromebooks. Each of these modalities
prepares the students to be expert users of technology by the time they enter
middle school.
